Such a compact and neat design, perfect for use in a van! Starts off as a compact round tub, the fan folds up and is then on an extending arm - so it can be used at any height from just a couple of inches above a table to over 3 feet above the floor. See the video below.
Charges from USB just like a phone, with an indicator light changing from red to green to show when it is fully charged. . We had these made with twice the standard battery capacity. We haven’t had a chance to test for battery life yet, the manufacturer tells us between 4 and 20 hours, depending on what speed the fan is ran at and if it is working against a breeze already around it if used outdoors.
Turn it on and the fan is in pulse mode, the motor pulses between high and low speed. Press the on button again and it enters low speed mode, press again for medium and then for high speed - indicator lights show what mode it is in.
Folded down, the fan is 9.5cm / 3 3/4” high by 19.3cm / 7 5/8” id diameter. We haven’t had a chance to weigh it yet as we’re away but it is lightweight, not heavy at all.
