These work so well! So many vans have no grill, this is your answer if you like a slice of toast in the morning, or crumpet / muffin / tea cake etc. We tried a few different “camping toasters”, most of which really weren’t very good, before we found this one.
It folds almost completely flat and takes up very little room to store. Fold it up, pop it on a gas ring and it toasts really quickly and easily - see the video below. The gas ring heats the stainless steel mesh in the base of the toaster, which then radiates heat onto the bread on top. It’s so quick and easy that despite my van having a perfectly good grill I’ve taken to using one of these!
Folded down they are 145mm / 5 3/4” wide by 165mm / 6 1/2” long, by around 12mm / 1/2” thick.
