The NiksNaks ChillBoost replaces the built-in ice box on Dometic 8 Series fridges to make the fridge work much better in hot weather and also to save gas. The best explanation of how it works is on the video below.
Please note that although we know it fits the Dometic RMS8400 fridge shown in the video, and we believe it will fit all other Dometic fridge models that start with RM8, RMS8, RML8 or RMSL8 that also have an internal ice box, we haven’t been able to test all models. Hence we would ask you to remove the ice box in your fridge (easy job - see the video, it’s also in the owner’s manual) and check the sizing before you place an order.
Please note that we don’t have this product for any other fridge models at present, and we cannot tell from your motorhome model what fridge model you have - you’ll need to check your fridge.
