We hear of so many customers who have hurt themselves coming out of their van - they come out in a hurry, their step tips over and down they go - especially with plastic steps.
The extra large platform size and splayed legs make these steps exceptionally stable - the legs give a footprint on the ground of 62 × 40 cm / 24½ “ x 16” - the legs lock very firmly in position, they cannot fold unless their release button is pressed, and they end in thick rubber anti-slip feet
The platform does not flex like cheap steps - the 9 metal tubes that make it up not only have a deep 2.5cm / 1" cross section, they also have further curved reinforcing bars welded underneath. They are welded in to steel U-section end rails. The platform has 7 lengths of grip tape to make it really non-slip in the wet.
A leading brand has these exact steps, with their brand printed on, at shows at £68 and online at £70 - there really is a dearth of good quality folding steps at an affordable price in the UK, hence why we sourced our own!
