Described as for gas hobs only, I see no reason why it wouldn’t also work on electric radiant hobs but it is not suitable for electric induction hobs. Has a good loud whistle and a dribble-free pour, we tried it!

With a separate lid that lifts off for filling, the spout cap is opened and closed from a switch on the handle with your thumb. It’s 20 cm / 8” in diameter across it’s base, with the spout projecting slightly beyond that. With the handle it is 19cm / 7 1/2” tall.
